SKATES & SOUNDS RETURNS – FEBRUARY 2026

#SkatesAndSounds is back for its seventh season in February 2026, with a stellar lineup of DJs ready to spin the hottest tracks and warm us up!

Every Friday night, the Barbara Ann Scott Ice Trail at College Park transforms into an open-air dancefloor, blending music, skating, and winter vibes in the heart of downtown Toronto. Whether you’re gliding under the lights, dancing on the sidelines, or just here for the energy, this free event series is your invitation to PLAY all winter long.

Join us Fridays in February from 4–8 PM for four themed nights, plus free skate rentals on-site!

Feb 6 – Pride Night

We’re kicking things off with Pride Night, in partnership with Pride Toronto! 🌈

Celebrate love, identity, and inclusion as we open the season with colourful beats and community spirit. Everyone is welcome:  on and off the ice.

Feb 13 – Winter Games Night

Let the games begin! 🏒🎧

Inspired by the spirit of the Winter Olympics, this DJ night invites you to skate to your favourite beats with silent disco headphones. Whether you’re going for gold or just here for the vibe, it’s your night to PLAY — your way.

Feb 20 – Lunar New Year Celebration

Welcome the Year of the Horse with a Lunar New Year celebration on ice! 🐴🧧

Skate to themed DJ sets and festive sounds as we mark the season of luck, strength, and new beginnings. Red lanterns optional, good vibes guaranteed.

Feb 27 – Black History Month Tribute

We close the month with a powerful tribute to Black History Month.

This night will spotlight Black musical excellence, past and present, through a curated DJ set that celebrates legacy, creativity, and culture. Come honour the moment with us.
