2026 Winter Events

Downtown Yonge BIA is kicking off 2026 with a vibrant lineup of free public programming that invites everyone to connect, explore, and embrace winter in the city. From DJ skate nights and Olympic-inspired game day fun, to immersive art installations and intimate live concerts, our Winter Events bring warmth, movement, and music to public spaces across the neighbourhood. Whether you’re gliding across ice, taking in live music at the Friar’s Museum, or discovering the joy of light through ILLUMINITE, there’s something for everyone this winter.

Downtown Yonge lights up again! From Feb 13 to Mar 8, explore five glowing installations celebrating the spirit of play across 777 Bay Plaza, Trinity Square Park, Sankofa Square, Granby Parkette, and College Park.

SKATES & SOUNDS

Every Friday in February 2026

Lace up and glide into the vibe! Skates & Sounds returns for its 7th season with a fresh DJ lineup and themed nights that celebrate Pride, Lunar New Year, the Olympics, and Black History Month. Free to attend, open to all.
