Neon preservation

Why Preserve

Every sign tells a unique story – from the vibrant live music scene along Yonge Street in the 60’s and 70’s to the innovative and sometime quirky retailers to the all-night diners that served some of Toronto’s most famous musicians, actors and politicians. Our aim is for these stories and more to be on display for the future generation to come.

We hope our neon display will contribute to the cultural landscape in Toronto, create a new resident and tourist destination, present an important part of Toronto’s history and play a vital role in the activation and animation of Toronto’s laneways and found space urban spaces.

Do you have a sign that deserves to be on display, one that has an iconic history that shouldn’t be forgotten? Please consider donating your sign to our collection.  We look forward to hearing from you.
