Downtown Yonge BIA Remembrance Day Commemoration

This Remembrance Day, the Downtown Yonge BIA invites the community to pause and reflect in honour of Canada’s heroes.

At 11:00 a.m., a Moment of Silence will be observed at the intersection of Yonge & Dundas, where police will briefly stop traffic to allow the solemn sounds of The Lament and the Last Post to be performed by bagpiper and buglers. A concurrent commemoration will also take place at College Park, offering a space for reflection amidst the city’s core.

In addition, a Poppy Display will be installed at College Park from November 7 to November 12, symbolizing unity, remembrance, and gratitude for those who have served.
