War of the Foxes Praised by Toronto Weekly for his “charming sensitivity and whole-hearted intellect,” Stanford Cheung has established himself as a musician of refined style. His program "War of the Foxes" coins its title from the poet Richard Siken. The collage of pieces presented seek to stipple a storyline of narrative soundscapes from Debussy’s Images Bk. II to that of Kodaly’s jaunting Marosszéker Tänze and Rachmaninoff's stark Prelude in B minor, Op. 32, No. 10.
