Running Rivers consists of four Toronto-based musicians, each bringing unique colours, moods, and resonance from their varied palettes of expression and experience. Their intention and approach towards music is rooted in understanding, humility, insignificance, and a celebration of the collective human experience. Running Rivers combines elements of Western classical, jazz, funk, and blues with South Asian classical and folk traditions to create an original and uniquely Canadian sound. Since coming together in early 2022, Running Rivers has been actively performing around Toronto and Montreal, and they are currently working towards their first recording project.
