A new Cuban-Canadian project in Toronto, Ade Meyi is the next generation of Cuban music in Canada. Meaning “crown of two” in lucumí, the Yoruba-derived liturgical language of Cuban Santeria, Ade Meyi fuses funk, RnB, soul, flamenco and Cuban trova with influences as diverse as Amy Winehouse, Síntesis, and Daniel Caesar.
Come down and shake your hips to the Cuban infused R&B, soul music of Ade Meyi at Trinity Square on August 23rd at 12PM!
This year's Play the Parks will feature 50 free live, in-person concerts happening weekly from June 27 to September 7 at the following locations - College Park, Trinity Square, McGill and Granby Parkettes, Market Garden Patio at the Chelsea Hotel and the Mackenzie House; featuring a wide range of musical styles and genres by Canadian Artists.
